Tuna Pasta Salad

Ingredients

  • 2 can’s or 10 OZ of White Tuna Drained

  • 1 LB of Bow Tie Pasta

  • 4 Tablespoons of Olive Oil

  •  2 Tablespoons of Olive Oil Based Mayonnaise

  • ½ Teaspoon of Dry Thyme of 1 Teaspoon of Fresh Thyme

  •  15 Cherry Tomatoes

  • One Handful of Whole Spinach Leaves

  • 1 Whole Lemon

  • Sea Salt 

  • Black Pepper

How to Prepare

  1. In a Large Pot, bring your water to a Rapid Boil, as it's still Boiling add in about 1 tablespoon of Sea salt. Then add your bow tie pasta, and cook for 10 to 12 minutes or until Al Denta. 

  2. Once the pasta is cooked, rinse the pasta in cold water for 10 minutes, then strain. 

  3.  As the Pasta is Cooking, in a separate bowl mix the Tuna, Mayonnaise, and Thyme together until the tuna is broken apart. 

  4. Then add the ½ teaspoon of Black pepper and the ½ teaspoon of Sea Salt, and Mix.

  5. Next Add 2 tablespoons of Olive Oil, and Mix. 

  6. Now take one Purple Onion and dice it up and mix it into the Tuna. 

  7. Add a whole lemon zest into the Tuna and Mix together. 

  8. Use the same Lemon from the Zest and squeeze out the lemon Juice in a separate bowl and set off to the side. 

  9. If you are still waiting for the pasta to finish cooking or finish cooling, cut your Cherry Tomatoes in half and cut your Spinach up into bite size pieces and set aside. 

  10. Once your Pasta is done cooling and is strained, in a large bowl mix together the pasta and the Tuna Mix. 

  11. Then add another ½ teaspoon Sea salt and ½ teaspoon Black pepper, the White Beans, and 2 tablespoons Olive Oil, and the Lemon Juice that you had set to the side., and Mix. 

  12. And Lastly add your Chopped Cherry Tomatoes and Spinach in and give one last big mix, and Sever, and Enjoy.
